National Asset Exchange does not work directly with the debtor. Enrollment of debt into the exchange may only be through retained debt settlement companies, credit repair agencies, or the debtor’s legal representative.

National Asset Exchange has developed a platform whereby unsecured consumer debt is aggregated and sold to third party debt buyers, institutional investors, and various accredited funds. The platform was developed to enable both institutions and debt buyers to view accounts that have been accepted onto the platform.  This allows the creditor and debtor the opportunity to possibly achieve debt resolution without incurring costs associated with litigation and/or collection.

There is no additional cost to the debtor to enroll debt into the program.  Enrolling debt into the exchange may achieve resolution of debt sooner avoiding litigation, judgments, and garnishments since the creditor may choose to sell the debt to a buyer on the exchange who is willing to accept risk of collection and who may offer terms to resolve the debtor’s financial obligation. 
There can be no guarantee that a creditor will not litigate. However, if the creditor is aware that the debtor is actively seeking to satisfy its financial obligation and can arrange terms for resolution, the likelihood of litigation and potential judgment is greatly reduced.
